Tomato, Onion and Coriander — sun-dried and ground from organically grown vegetables at peak nutrition. No artificial colour, no preservatives, no flow agents — just pure, concentrated vegetable goodness in every spoon.
Dry vegetable powders are whole vegetables — tomatoes, onions, coriander — that have been dried at low temperature to remove moisture while preserving their natural colour, aroma, vitamins and phytonutrients, then ground into a fine, flavour-dense powder. They are not the same as artificially flavoured seasoning powders or bouillon-based mixes.
The concept is ancient — Indian kitchens have dried and powdered vegetables for centuries as a way to preserve seasonal abundance and build a pantry of concentrated flavour and nutrition for year-round use. A teaspoon of tomato powder contains the nutrition of an entire tomato. A teaspoon of coriander powder carries the aromatic complexity of a full bunch of fresh herb.
Panchmandal's vegetable powders are made from organically grown vegetables harvested at peak ripeness — when lycopene, quercetin and chlorophyll are at their maximum. Dried at controlled low temperature in our farm drying facility, never spray-dried, never treated with sulphur dioxide, and stone-ground without heat-generating high-speed blenders that destroy volatile aromatic compounds.
The kitchen is a pharmacy. Every vegetable, every spice, every herb is medicine — and the power of that medicine is entirely determined by the quality of what you start with.
— Traditional Indian Culinary Wisdom
Tomato, Onion and Coriander — three of India's most essential cooking vegetables, now available as pure, additive-free dry powders for year-round nutrition and flavour without any compromise.
🍅 Tomato
High Lycopene
Ripe organic tomatoes sun-dried at low temperature and stone-ground to a vivid, tangy-sweet powder that is 10× more concentrated than fresh tomato — delivering intense tomato flavour and extraordinary lycopene content without any cooking time.
🧅 Onion
Quercetin Dense
Organic onions slow sun-dried to caramelised perfection and stone-ground to a deeply savoury, slightly sweet powder — the aromatic base of Indian cooking without any of the preparation, tears or cooking time that fresh onions require.
🌿 Coriander
Iron & Magnesium
Fresh organic coriander leaves harvested at peak aromatic intensity, dried at low temperature to preserve the volatile essential oils that give coriander its characteristic bright, citrusy-herbal fragrance, then stone-ground to a vibrant green powder.
Vegetable powders are not a compromise — they are a smarter, more concentrated, longer-lasting form of the same nutrition. Here's why every kitchen should have them.
No chopping, no blanching, no pureeing. A teaspoon of powder dissolves instantly in any liquid — cutting base gravy preparation time from 20 minutes to under 30 seconds.
Drying removes only water — all vitamins, minerals, lycopene and phytonutrients remain in the powder at 10× concentration. One teaspoon delivers the nutrition of a full vegetable.
Fresh tomatoes last 5 days. Fresh coriander wilts in 2 days. Our powders stay fresh and nutritionally potent for 12 months — no refrigeration, no waste, available anytime.
Peak-season vegetables dried and ground — their full nutritional value preserved and available year-round. No compromise on nutrition or flavour due to off-season sourcing.
We source only from certified organic farms. Conventional vegetables carry pesticide residue that concentrates during drying — making organic sourcing even more critical for powdered products than fresh ones.
Our low-temperature solar drying preserves Vitamin C, volatile aromatic oils, and heat-sensitive antioxidants. Spray-drying at 150–200°C is faster and cheaper but destroys the most nutritionally valuable compounds.
SO₂ is the industry standard preservative and colour-fixer for vegetable powders — it prevents browning during drying. We never use it. Our powders are naturally coloured by the real vegetable — colour variation is a sign of authenticity.
High-speed industrial grinders generate heat and centrifugal force that ruptures cell walls and releases volatile aromatic compounds as gas — destroying the aroma. Slow stone grinding preserves the essential oil pockets intact within each particle.
Commercial powders add silicon dioxide (anti-caking), maltodextrin (carrier), modified starch (filler) and tricalcium phosphate. Ours contain only the dried vegetable — nothing else. If it clumps slightly in humidity, that is the real powder behaving honestly.
Tomato, Onion and Coriander are not just flavour bases — they are among the most clinically studied functional foods in the world
Tomato powder's lycopene is the most potent carotenoid antioxidant for prostate, breast and colon cancer prevention. Heat-processing and concentration in powder form increases lycopene bioavailability by 300% over raw tomato.
Tomato's lycopene reduces LDL oxidation. Onion's quercetin reduces arterial inflammation. Coriander's magnesium relaxes blood vessels. Combined daily use creates comprehensive cardiovascular protection.
Coriander's dodecenal is clinically proven more effective than gentamicin against Salmonella. Onion's allicin attacks gram-positive bacteria. Both are powerful natural alternatives to chemical food preservatives.
Onion powder's chromium improves insulin sensitivity. Quercetin inhibits alpha-glucosidase — slowing glucose absorption. Tomato's chlorogenic acid reduces post-meal blood sugar spikes. A trifecta for diabetics.
Coriander powder is one of the richest plant sources of Vitamin K — essential for bone matrix protein activation and blood clotting. Iron and magnesium in coriander address two of India's most common nutritional deficiencies.
Coriander's unique phytonutrient profile — particularly cilantro extract compounds — chelates mercury, lead and arsenic from tissues and mobilises them for elimination. One of the best natural detox agents available.
Tomato's lycopene protects skin collagen from UV degradation. Vitamin C in tomato and coriander stimulates collagen synthesis. Quercetin in onion inhibits skin-ageing MMPs — a whole-body anti-ageing combination.
Coriander's digestive enzymes stimulate bile secretion and gastric motility. Onion's fructooligosaccharides act as powerful prebiotics. Tomato's fibre (even in powder form) supports bowel regularity and gut microbiome.
Vegetable powders are the most versatile ingredients in any kitchen — they work in every cuisine, every cooking style, and every meal format from a quick weekday curry to a slow weekend stew.
The most powerful application — vegetable powders dissolve instantly into any wet cooking base and deliver concentrated flavour without any prep.
Vegetable powders create instant, deeply flavoured soup bases — no stock cubes, no artificial flavour, no sodium overload.
Vegetable powders are the backbone of dry rubs — providing flavour, colour and surface adhesion without added moisture.
Vegetable powders add nutrition, colour and flavour to baked goods and snacks — without adding moisture that would change textures.
Dissolved in water or juice, vegetable powders become powerful nutritional supplements — far superior to synthetic vitamin tablets.
The original convenience food — compact, lightweight, shelf-stable, and capable of making any simple dish deeply nourishing and flavourful.
The commercial vegetable powder market is dominated by spray-dried, sulphur-treated, anti-caking-agent-loaded products that are a pale shadow of the real vegetable. Ours is different.
Pesticides concentrate during drying — a vegetable with 1 ppm residue becomes 10 ppm powder. Organic sourcing is non-negotiable for any powder product. Our vegetables are certified organic from seed to harvest.
Low-temperature drying is slower, more expensive and requires better quality vegetables — because at lower temperatures, poor quality shows. We accept that cost because it preserves what matters: Vitamin C, volatile oils and enzymes.
Three of the most common commercial additives — all absent from our powders. If our coriander powder is vivid green without SO₂, it is because we sourced exceptional coriander at peak colour. The real thing doesn't need chemical enhancement.
Commercial processors source year-round from whoever offers the cheapest price. We source only during peak season — when lycopene in tomatoes, quercetin in onions and linalool in coriander are at their absolute maximum.
Vegetable powders are highly light and oxygen sensitive — both degrade lycopene, quercetin and volatile aromatics rapidly. We pack in small batches in dark, airtight, resealable packaging to maximise active shelf life.
Peak-season organic vegetables — concentrated, shelf-stable and instantly available. One teaspoon of Panchmandal vegetable powder does what no fresh vegetable can: delivers full nutrition, instantly, any time of year, without a single additive.
